The Golden Circle - What, How, and WHY

One of the things that separates a successful entrepreneur from one that is not, is the ability to tell people why they are doing what they do. Most people in life, can easily tell you what they do, and how they do the things they do. However, when you ask someone WHY do they do what they do, this becomes much more difficult to answer.

To be successful, you must be able to tell the story of why you do what you do. What is your purpose? For example, I believe that I can change the world by sharing my professional life experiences and helping others to more easily achieve their dreams. That is my WHY for why I teach. Teaching is secondary, wanting to help others achieve all that they are capable of is primary to WHY i do what I do.

Assignment Task:

Write a summary story of why you want to do the business idea you have come up with. Do not tell me what the product or service is or that you want to make money. Tell me the life story that has impacted you and driven you. Why are you doing what you are doing?
