Education Plan
- You will have the opportunity to meet with an HCC Academic Advisor during Modules 3 and 6. College Support Systems Directory
- You will create a reference directory of support services available to you that enhance your academic success. Your directory will have seven entries that include hours of operation, contact information, location of service, and a description of the services provided. Engagement Reflection Journal

Financial Literacy
- During the financial literacy module, you will explore financial aid opportunities and the cost of a college degree. In addition, you will track your spending and create a report regarding your spending log. The total point value for your financial literacy assignment is 25 points. Technology
- Technology resources and activities are included as part of this course. Of course, you will use various aspects of technology throughout this course. To uncover how technology can support your learning, you will complete a pre and post survey identifying your technology skills and areas for growth. In addition, you will use the online tutoring service, Smarthinking, and you will complete one class discussion. Local and Global Community
- You will have the opportunity to complete a community health project as part of this course. This assignment is developed as a public service announcement that relates to a specific health issue impacting college students. Also included are support agencies that assist people with the specific issue. The total point value of your PSA is 25 points. Discussions
- There are seven discussions included in this course. As part of each discussion, students are required to respond to a minimum of two of their classmates' posts.
