Welcome to SLS 1106 - First Year Experience!
This course is designed to support you as you develop educational goals and a plan to complete a college degree. As part of this course, you will identify career goals related to your education program as well as engage with the HCC community and student support services.
To Get Started in this Course

- Access the orientation module and review all of the orientation materials in the order presented by clicking through page by page.
- Review the course syllabus located in the orientation module.
- Complete all of the orientation assignments in the orientation module.
Remember: You cannot begin the content contained in the course Modules until you have reviewed the information in the course orientation and have successfully completed the required orientation assignments. These assignments are required to avoid being administratively withdrawn from the course.
