Instructions
Step 1: Post Your Introduction
Respond to this discussion board and tell us:
- Your name or nickname
- Major or area of study
- My learning goals for this course:
- My 2 favorite hobbies or interests:
Your response should be around 3-5 sentences. Then, you should upload a picture for your Canvas profile Links to an external site.! Click on the Account tab on the left, then navigate to Profile. Here you will be able to edit your photo.
Step 2: Reply to Your Peers
Once you write your own post and upload a picture, you will need to respond to at least two (2) peers with who you share a commonality. For example, if you're both brand new to HCC you might write a comment like "It is my first semester at HCC, too! Go Hawks!" or if you both love binge-watching shows, let them know which ones you're into right now. You could even include a meme or gif, so long as we're keeping it PG.
The idea is to build community, so have fun, be authentic, and let's have a great semester together!
